City of Tulsa seeks skilled labor trade workers, requiring a high school diploma or GED and four years of construction experience in water/sewer maintenance and related utilities. Valid CDL Class A is required within six months, with endorsements. Some positions may require pesticide/herbicide permits and DEQ licenses.
Work hours are Wednesday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM. Hiring processes include safety certifications such as confined space entry and SCBA where applicable.
Graduation from high school or possession of a General Educational Development Certificate (GED), and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience, including semiskilled and skilled construction work experience in water, sewer maintenance, construction, utility location, or related field.

Possession of a valid Oklahoma Class "A" Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within six (6) months of hire date with applicable endorsements; some positions Oklahoma State Agriculture Department Non-commercial Pesticide/Herbicide permit within 9 months of hire, some positions. Relevant Class D Water/Wastewater license as issued by the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) within 72 months of hire, some positions. Confined Space Entry Certification and or Certification on Self- Contained Breating Apparatus SCBA, some positions.
