Job summary

Maverik in Washington state is seeking a Food Service Manager to lead a store team in delivering fresh, high-quality food and outstanding customer service. You'll oversee daily food service operations, develop Team Members, and ensure safe, efficient meal preparation while upholding Maverik's service standards.

Food Service Manager

Starting pay: $23.61/hr - $25.61/hr. with both career and growth opportunities, plus eligibility for a bonus program!

• Lead by Example: Jump in alongside your team when needed and help ensure the store and food service operation are running smoothly.
• Team Development: Assist with the training, mentoring, and supervision of store team members.
• Facility Maintenance: Ensure proper & safe food preparation while maintaining clean self-serving options (food & drink dispensers).

Physical Requirements:

• This position involves frequent standing, walking, handling, and horizontal reaching. It also requires reaching above shoulder level and below the waist, as well as activities such as bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing. The role may involve lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures, while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
