Maverik Inc. in Salina, Kansas is seeking a Food Service Manager to lead daily store operations, ensuring fresh, high-quality food and exceptional customer service.

You will develop Team Members, drive food service excellence, and foster a culture of quality, safety, and service that keeps customers returning. Starting pay ranges from $17.95 to $19.95 per hour with 24/7 store requirements, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to apply.

• 2+ years of foodservice management experience preferred.
• ServeSafe certification currently held or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and oversee all Team Member tasks.

• Ensure safe, proper food preparation and clean self-serve areas.
• Coordinate inspections with Store Director and third parties to maintain standards.

About The Job

• Lead by Example: Be a team player by fulling & overseeing all tasks and duties required of Team Members.
• Team Development: Assist with the training, mentoring, & supervision of store team members.
• Facility Maintenance: Ensure proper & safe food preparation while maintaining clean self-serving options (food & drink dispensers).
• Operational Excellence: Complete with the inspection of facilities/equipment with the Store Director as well as third-party inspections.

Physical Requirements

• This position involves frequent standing, walking, handling, and horizontal reaching. It also requires reaching above shoulder level and below the waist, as well as activities such as bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing. The role may involve lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures, while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
