Job summary

Ameriprise Financial is seeking a Communications Specialist to plan and execute internal communications with a focus on writing and editing. This role supports the Internal Communication department, collaborating with partners to develop content for employees and field members.

You will draft and coordinate communications plans, ensure consistency of messages, and update online content. Strong writing, editing, and project management skills are essential, with proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent (2-years) required.
• Minimum of one year of professional experience in communications.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
• Proactive approach and creative problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member.
• High proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in communications, journalism, English or related field preferred.
