Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an Internal Communications Manager to foster an engaged workforce and align with the organization’s mission. This role sits in the Communications Department’s Center of Expertise and serves as a subject matter expert in employee engagement.
You will develop and implement strategies, write content for newsletters, intranets, emails, and talking points, partner with hospitals and units, and stay current with national trends to strengthen internal communications

The Internal Communications Manager plays an integral role in fostering an organizational culture and a workforce that feels strongly connected to BILH's mission. As part of the Communications Department’s Center of Expertise in internal communications, this individual is a subject matter expert in employee engagement and develops and implements strategies designed to inform and engage employees and physicians. Working collaboratively with others in the department, the Internal Communications Manager also ensures that BILH’s internal communications efforts reflect the organization’s values and priorities and that communications efforts are closely aligned across channels.
Bachelor’s degree required. 3-5+ years related work experience required in Internal Communications. Advanced skills with Microsoft applications, which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other web-based applications. May produce complex documents and perform analysis.
Health care industry experience preferred.
$80,000.00 USD - $110,000.00 USD The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
