Job summary

Daifuku North America is seeking an Internal Auditor II to conduct internal audits focused on IT general controls, finance, and operations. The role involves coordinating with the Japanese parent company and performing SAP-based audits.

The position requires a master’s or bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting (with IT) and experience in financial audits, with occasional travel to Japan and other US locations. A mix of on-site and remote work is offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in finance or accounting (with IT coursework) or related field.
• 1 year of experience as an auditor performing financial audits.
• OR Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, IT or closely related field plus 3 years of auditor experience and IT general controls.

Responsibilities

• Review self-assessment results of IT General Controls and conduct operational, compliance and financial audits.
• Ensure audit compliance with J-SOX and SOX, regulatory and professional standards.
• Establish/improve internal controls through testing or consultation.
• Utilize SAP for audits and testing.
• Coordinate with the Japanese parent company’s internal audit division, including travel to Japan approximately annually.
• Travel to affiliated locations in the US for 2–3 days, 3–5 times per year.
• Work full-time with up to 2 days per week remote.
