Job summary

Fairview Search Group, LLC is conducting an exclusive search for an Internal Auditor for a Multi-Billion Fortune 300 company located in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on risk assessment, planning and execution of audits, including SOX/compliance work.

Total compensation is about $110K plus, with a hybrid schedule of three days in-office per week and travel up to 20%. Candidates will work under the direction of the Audit Manager/Director and engage with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in auditing through public accounting or industry
• Knowledge of GAAP and auditing methodologies

Responsibilities

• Assists with risk assessment activities, preparation of the annual internal audit plan and updating of audit programs as needed.
• Demonstrates and applies a thorough understanding of business process controls
• Leads execution of corporate, division and plant level SOX or compliance audits
• Assists with audit scoping and fieldwork planning, including staffing and budget requirements
• Completes work programs for audit areas requiring strong technical skill
• Supervises the activities of the Auditors and other supplemental audit resources on audit assignments
• Drafts audit reports for review of the Audit Manager or Director.
