Job summary

M&T Bank in Buffalo, New York, is seeking an Auditor to participate in all audit phases across assigned projects, under supervision from a Lead Auditor or Manager. You will support annual risk assessments, continuous auditing, and remediation validations while applying the division's methodology.

Responsibilities include executing tasks, performing walkthroughs, identifying risks and controls, testing, and documenting findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years' work experience or successful completion of the MDP (Management Trainee program)
• Proven analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Participate in audits by executing assigned tasks in accordance with the Division's methodology and professional standards.
• Complete work within established timeframes with guidance by a Lead Auditor or Manager.
• Conduct walkthroughs, identify risks and controls, and design testing approaches with guidance.
• Conduct effective root cause analysis of identified findings with guidance.
• Participate in meetings with business management and provide updates on testing areas.
• Document work and findings clearly in accordance with the Division's methodology.
• Embrace innovative change and data analytics.
