Qualifications

• 3 years of internal audit or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Alaska work history or ability to thrive in Alaska.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile inventory ledger to a physical count.
• Own the compensation accrual and the math behind every line.
• Dig into the why beyond reporting.
• Translate Bank Reconciliation dashboards for non-finance leaders.
• Own the tax preparation-to-Accounts Payable handoff so reporting never stalls between teams.
• Own the tax provision and the footnotes that explain it.
• Turn a sprawling spreadsheet into a controlled, auditable workbook.
