Sika is seeking an Internal Auditor to plan and execute financial and operational audits across the AMERICAS region. The role requires experience in auditing manufacturing environments and collaboration with diverse teams to assess risks and controls.

The successful candidate will hold a degree in business/finance, a CIA or willingness to certify, and strong English and Spanish communication skills. Travel up to 50-70% is required across the US, Canada, and Latin America.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Internal Audit experience in an international manufacturing company.
• CIA is required or willing to certify; other certifications (CISA, CFE, CPA, ACCA) are a plus.
• Strong understanding of internal control concepts and models; experience with audit reporting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform financial and operational audits within the AMERICAS region.
• Lead field audits, coordinate with auditees and draft audit reports with clear recommendations.
• Communicate audit results to local management; lead as Lead Auditor on rotation.
• Support quality assurance and knowledge management within Corporate Internal Audit.

Internal Auditor## About the RoleAs part of our commitment to growth and efficiency, we are currently seeking an Internal Auditor with experience in auditing manufacturing companies to plan and perform financial and operational audits within the AMERICAS region of the Sika group according to the Annual Internal Audit Plan and the Internal Audit Methodology.Our Corporate Audit department comprises of 11 members, strategically divided into regional hubs – EMEA, APAC, Americas and Corporate.* Analyze business and support processes* Identify and assess risks and controls for the entities/processes in scope.* Contribute to the wrap-up of the field audit (review of auditees’ action plans, field work documentation, team debriefing).* Assist in preparing planning deliverables, incl. audit work programs and appropriate audit methods.* Perform interviews, walk-throughs, sample tests and document field audit results – approx. 10 field audits per year.* Contribute to selective process/system audits on group level as needed (under the lead of the Corporate Internal Audit team)* Contribute to the Internal Audit Quality Assurance Program and Knowledge Management* Communicate audit results and recommendations to local management.* Perform as Lead Auditor on rotational basis.## Your Skills and Experience* Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.* Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or willing to certify. Other certifications (CISA, CFE, CPA, ACCA) are an asset.* 5 years of experience in Internal Audit for an international manufacturing company in combination with External Audit experience at a Big 4.* Sound understanding of internal control concepts and models.* Excellent communication skills (oral and in writing) in English and Spanish. Prior experience in writing audit reports in English. Any other languages are a plus.* Willingness to travel up to 50-70% in the US, Canada, Latin America and occasionally globally* Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize and to communicate results in a clear, structured, and concise manner.* Strong knowledge in the use of MS office (Excel).
