Job summary

Insperity is seeking an Internal Auditor to perform professional internal auditing work, including operational, financial, and compliance audits. The role involves developing test plans, interviewing staff, documenting processes, and assessing risks to help improve controls. Travel up to 5% is expected.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, experience in accounting or auditing, and the ability to work across sites in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Experience in accounting, internal audit, or public accounting is preferred.
• Travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Conducts internal audits including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and other audits as needed.
• Performs audit procedures including test plans, interviews, documenting processes, identifying risks and controls.
• Participates in audits at site locations.
• Identifies and documents audit issues and recommendations.
• Uses SharePoint to document audit results and recommendations.
• Performs data analytics and reports results to supervisor.
• Supports annual risk assessment process with interviews and documentation.
• Maintains professional client and staff relationships and participates in project teams.
