REDW Advisors & CPAs in Albuquerque, NM is seeking an Internal Audit Senior Associate to strengthen our audit practice and client services. You will gather and analyze data for internal audits, supervise teams onsite, and help shape recommendations to improve controls and performance.

You will partner with Principals to develop audit plans, monitor deadlines, and communicate outcomes clearly in client meetings, while growing your leadership and technical skills in a supportive, values-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–5 years of applicable work experience.
• Preferred: Internal Audit experience.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and analyzes data for internal audits.
• Goes onsite to client offices to supervise audit teams and communicates with client personnel.
• Establishes and updates schedules for clients’ audit programs and assists in developing recommendations based on internal audit observations.
• Reviews, evaluates, and delivers feedback for correction and/or improvement of internal, operational and management control systems and organizational performance.
• Assists clients and/or Principal group in developing and executing plans to meet client expectations and achieve committed deadlines.
• Leads and attends client meetings ensuring audit plans, expectations and results are clearly communicated.

Internal Audit Senior Associate

What You’ll Do

• Gathers and analyzes data for internal audits.
• Goes onsite to client offices to supervise audit teams and communicates with client personnel.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• A minimum of two to five years applicable work experience required.
• Preferred: Internal Audit Experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Visio, and Adobe.
• Excellent understanding of accounting and reporting standards.
• Excellent understanding of process improvement, best practice implementation and control assessments.
• Ability to supervise staff and lead projects.
