Job summary

Lead Bank is seeking an Internal Audit Manager to oversee the risk-based audit program, challenge conclusions, and coach staff. You will coordinate across the bank to assess controls, educate process owners, and manage remediation plans while reporting to the Head of Internal Audit.

The role emphasizes independent audits, staff development, and effective communication with senior management and the Audit Committee.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or finance
• 5+ years of internal audit and banking/financial services experience
• Certifications: CPA, CIA, or CISA preferred
• Experience leading audits and coordinating with senior management
• Strong risk assessment and internal control knowledge

Responsibilities

• Lead risk assessment and annual audit plan updates
• Conduct audits and assessments for controls and regulatory compliance
• Manage and develop audit staff and resources
• Coordinate with management and external auditors
• Prepare and present reports to Audit Committee
• Ensure timely remediation and action tracking
