Worthington Industries is seeking an Internal Audit Manager to lead Sarbanes-Oxley, financial and operational audits with a people-first approach in Columbus, OH. You will design work programs, apply auditing methodologies, and evaluate evidentiary data to form objective conclusions.

The role requires 6+ years of related audit experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and professional certifications (CPA/CIA/CISA preferred).

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of related audit or applicable business experience.
• CPA, CIA, or CISA certification preferred.
• Transformational mindset with ability to identify and solve problems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and experience working with large data sets.

Responsabilidades

• Develop audit plans, goals, objectives, and value measurements for projects.
• Assemble and lead teams of auditors to fulfill project requirements.
• Manage activities and resources across multiple audit projects to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Evaluate adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and report findings to management.
• Guide the team in developing cost-effective, practical recommendations for improvement.
• Apply complex accounting and auditing concepts to audit projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve organizational processes and deliver value-added services.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to manage expectations.
• Stay informed on strategic initiatives to support priorities.
• Participate in technical training and maintain professional certifications.
• Other duties as assigned.
