Job summary

UPS is seeking an Internal Audit Intern to work on projects spanning finance, international and domestic operations, technology and cybersecurity, and healthcare. The program emphasizes leadership development, business acumen, data analytics, coaching, and effective communication across audit phases.

The role offers hands-on experience in planning, evaluating, and reporting while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Experience with data analytics or AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

Execute risk-based audit projects across financial, operational, and/or technology domains.
Perform procedures across all phases of an internal audit, including planning, evaluation, and reporting.
Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.
Identify control gaps, risks, and opportunities to improve business processes and controls.
Prepare clear, concise, and well-supported audit documentation and audit findings.
Communicate observations and recommendations effectively to management.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather information and support remediation.
Utilize data analytics and emerging technologies to enhance audit quality and efficiency.
Domiciled in the Atlanta area with the ability to report to office 3 days per week (In-Person).
