Job summary

Mapfre seeks a motivated college student for a 10-week summer internship in Webster, MA, supporting an Operational Audit. You will assist with audit planning, testing, data validation, and documentation under supervision, gaining exposure to AI, automation, and analytics in auditing.

You will collaborate with claims, underwriting, finance, and other teams, developing communication and relationship management skills while contributing to process improvements.

• Prepare audit workpapers and maintain audit documentation per methodology.
• Use data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and risk areas.
• Analyze evidence and flag potential exceptions for review.
• Research industry practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging risks.
• Assist with issue tracking, status reporting, and final documentation.
• Collaborate with claims, underwriting, finance, and other functions to improve processes.
• Explore AI, automation, and analytics to enhance audit effectiveness.
