Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise invites you to join our internship program focused on yield analysis, defect investigation, and data-driven manufacturing improvements. You will work with engineering teams to identify trends, investigate excursions, and present results.

You will develop dashboards and automation tools, apply AI-enabled methods to productivity, and gain exposure to a world-leading semiconductor environment with comprehensive benefits and a supportive growth-focused culture.

• Analyze yield, defect, and failure analysis data to identify trends and anomalies.
• Investigate yield excursions and product failures to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve yield, quality, and manufacturing performance.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve accuracy, tool matching, and data integrity.
• Support defect characterization, failure analysis, and correlation studies.
• Develop dashboards, automation solutions, and data visualization tools.
• Drive an engineering project to completion and present results at the end of the internship.
• Apply AI-enabled tools and data-driven methodologies to improve productivity, enhance technical analyses, and support innovation in yield and failure analysis workflows.
