Job summary

The Navy Federal Credit Union invites applications for a Year Round Intern in Vienna, VA to support the Dynamics for Customer Engagement Platform Services team. You will assist in platform development, documentation, governance, and adoption of the Power Platform across the enterprise.

You must be enrolled in a degree program and ready to gain hands-on experience with Dynamics CRM, Power Platform, Azure DevOps, and cross-functional collaboration while developing analytical and critical-thinking

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a college-level degree program throughout the internship.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn new platforms.
• Familiarity with Dynamics CRM/Power Platform is a plus.

Responsibilities

Overview

The Dynamics for Customer Engagement (CRM) Platform Services team within Navy Federal's Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) leads the development, delivery, and governance of the Microsoft Power Platform product suite with emphasis on CRM across the enterprise. The Year Round Intern will assist the platform development team in supporting its ongoing efforts of platform development, platform documentation, governance policies, and general adoption of the product suite across the organization. The Year Round Intern will help further Power Platform goals and initiatives on an enterprise level while developing strong analytical, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

Developmental Focus Areas

• The intern will work directly with platform leads on the development of Navy Federal's preconfigured version of Dynamics CRM and Power Platform applications
• They will assist in identifying cross-departmental business requirement that improve business decision-making and transform legacy business processes to optimize business objectives
• They will document these requirements within Azure DevOps
• They may interact with external consulting companies engaged by Navy Federal on the expansion and establishment of CRM modules and governance
• They will have the opportunity to learn the platform application hands-on

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Platform Team as part of an Agile SCRUM project
• Complete assigned tasks to research and document technical and business requirements
• Document and perform business discovery sessions as a liaison with the platform delivery team
• Effectively communicate platform changes, feature designs, and outcomes to business stakeholders and leadership
• Optimize the team's SharePoint page to improve platform archives and communications
  

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science/Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, or other related degree
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Exposure to programming/scripting languages (i.e., Java, JavaScript)
• Knowledge of Cloud technologies
• Knowledge of Agile Methodology
• Willingness to learn aspects of the Power Platform with possible related certification(s)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM (minimum of 20-25 hours a week, based on school schedule)
