Z Modular, part of the Zekelman Industries family, seeks an Intern, Yardi Administrator to support property management technology platforms, onboarding, and day-to-day system tasks. This paid internship offers hands-on experience with Yardi configurations and cross-functional collaboration.

The role may be based in Chandler, AZ or performed remotely, with a potential pathway to full-time opportunities based on performance. Interns gain coaching, networking, and exposure to enterprise ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Interest in technology administration or enterprise property management systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with configuring properties, users, and system settings in Yardi platforms.
• Support property onboarding by entering and validating system data.
• Monitor and respond to Yardi-related support tickets under guidance.
• Troubleshoot basic issues and escalate complex concerns as needed.
• Assist with data audits to maintain system accuracy.
• Support RENTCafé and related platform configurations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to complete setup activities on time.
• Participate in system enhancement, testing, and implementation projects.
• Document processes and troubleshooting solutions.

About the Role

Z Modular, part of the Zekelman Industries family, is seeking an Intern, Yardi Administrator to support the administration and optimization of our property management technology platforms. This role will help ensure accurate property setup, system configuration, and day-to-day support activities that contribute to efficient multifamily operations. Working closely with our IT Applications team and cross-functionally, this position will assist with new property onboarding, Yardi system maintenance, and ticket resolution. The role may be based in Chandler, Arizona, or performed remotely. The official Zekelman internship program runs from May 24, 2027 through August 13, 2027. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically curious, and eager to learn enterprise property management systems. This internship offers meaningful hands-on experience and a potential pathway to a full-time opportunity based on performance and goal achievement.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with configuring new properties, users, and system settings within Yardi platforms
• Support property onboarding activities by entering and validating system data
• Monitor and respond to Yardi-related support tickets under the guidance of senior team members
• Troubleshoot basic system and user issues and manage escalation of complex concerns when needed
• Assist with data audits to maintain system accuracy and integrity
• Support RENTCafé and related platform configurations as assigned
• Collaborate with operational and business stakeholders to ensure timely completion of setup activities
• Participate in system enhancement, testing, and implementation projects
• Document processes, procedures, and troubleshooting solutions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Who You Are

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field
• Demonstrate strong interest in technology administration, property management systems, or business applications
• Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Analyze problems and identify practical solutions
• Learn new systems and processes quickly
• Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Previous exposure to Yardi, property management software, databases, or ERP systems is preferred but not required
