Job summary

Forvis Mazars Wealth Advisors, LLC is seeking an intern to support senior wealth management advisors in our Private Client practice. The 10-week paid program offers exposure to financial planning, portfolio management and operations, with a sponsor in the local market.

You are pursuing a financial planning degree with CFP eligibility, have solid financial knowledge, and are proficient in Microsoft Office, with a 3.0+ GPA. This role emphasizes teamwork, initiative, and professional communication.

Forvis Mazars Wealth Advisors, LLC, a nationally recognized Registered Investment Advisor, and wholly owned subsidiary of Forvis Mazars is seeking to add a Wealth Management professional to serve as an intern who will assist senior wealth management advisors in working with high-net worth families in our Forvis Mazars Private Client practice.

How You Will Contribute

• Wealth Advisor Interns participate in a 10-week paid program with the following learning objectives:
• Gaining a comprehensive overview of the wealth management industry
• Having an opportunity to experience the various roles that exist within a successful RIA (Registered Investment Advisor) firm including financial planning advisor; portfolio manager; and operations
• Being provided the ability to develop and practice the skills needed to be a successful team member
• Gaining the knowledge to help the intern choose the best fit career track for their goals
• Delivering Forvis Mazars' commitment to unmatched client experience through timely and responsive communication with internal and external clients.
• Interns will participate in a capstone project to conclude the internship, having the opportunity to present on a topic to the firm's leadership team.
• The summer internship will consist of participants from across the firm's geographical footprint. The intern participants will be paired with a program sponsor in their local market.

Minimum Qualifications

• Intern candidates must be working toward a financial planning degree and CFP exam eligibility
• Solid technical financial or accounting knowledge
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• GPA of 3.0 or higher (in major and overall)
