Job summary

Forvis Mazars Wealth Advisors, LLC invites driven students to join a 10-week paid internship supporting senior wealth management advisors who serve high-net-worth families. You will explore financial planning, portfolio management, and operations while developing essential skills in a collaborative team.

You'll be paired with a local sponsor and complete a capstone project presented to leadership, gaining real-world experience in a leading RIA.

Qualifications

• Intern candidates must be working toward a financial planning degree and CFP exam eligibility.
• Solid technical financial or accounting knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher (in major and overall).

Responsibilities

• Gain a comprehensive overview of the wealth management industry.
• Experience roles within an RIA including financial planning advisor; portfolio manager; and operations.

Forvis Mazars Wealth Advisors, LLC, a nationally recognized Registered Investment Advisor, and wholly owned subsidiary of Forvis Mazars is seeking to add a Wealth Management professional to serve as an intern who will assist senior wealth management advisors in working with high-net worth families in our Forvis Mazars Private Client practice.

Forvis Mazars Wealth Advisors, LLC, a nationally recognized Registered Investment Advisor, and wholly owned subsidiary of Forvis Mazars is seeking to add a Wealth Management professional to serve as an intern who will assist senior wealth management advisors in working with high-net worth families in our Forvis Mazars Private Client practice.

How You Will Contribute

• Wealth Advisor Interns participate in a 10-week paid program with the following learning objectives:


• Gaining a comprehensive overview of the wealth management industry


• Having an opportunity to experience the various roles that exist within a successful RIA (Registered Investment Advisor) firm including financial planning advisor; portfolio manager; and operations


• Being provided the ability to develop and practice the skills needed to be a successful team member


• Gaining the knowledge to help the intern choose the best fit career track for their goals


• Delivering Forvis Mazars' commitment to unmatched client experience through timely and responsive communication with internal and external clients.


• Interns will participate in a capstone project to conclude the internship, having the opportunity to present on a topic to the firm's leadership team.


• The summer internship will consist of participants from across the firm's geographical footprint. The intern participants will be paired with a program sponsor in their local market.
