Centro Escolar University invites engineering students to join our internship program in Marlton, New Jersey. You will participate in planning, design, and construction administration for water, wastewater, and municipal infrastructure projects, including field visits and data collection.

This role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and hands-on experience with AutoCAD, BIM, Civil 3D, and GIS. Prior coursework or internships in water-related projects is valued.

Formación

• Enrollment in an ABET-accredited undergraduate or graduate program in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.
• Interest in water/wastewater engineering shown via internships, work experiences, or coursework.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in the field and contribute to project teams.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with BIM, Civil 3D, GIS, hydraulic/hydrologic modeling, and other engineering software.
• Experience with municipal and private utilities is a plus.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Support real client projects by participating in planning, design, and construction administration of water, wastewater, and municipal infrastructure projects.
• Assist with site visits, surveys, inspections, and data collection for utility infrastructure projects.
• Support preparation of reports, design plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Assist in reviewing subdivision, land development, grading, and zoning plans, including stormwater management and erosion control.
• Aid in preparing permit applications for federal, state, and local agencies.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Enrollment in an ABET-accredited undergraduate or graduate program in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.
• Demonstrated interest in water/wastewater engineering through prior internships, work experiences, or applied academic coursework.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly salary range of $21.00 - $28.00, dependent on experience and geographic location.
