Zusammenfassung

UEC in Anchorage is seeking a summer intern for water resources projects, assisting with planning, design, and regulatory compliance. You will perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and create figures using ArcGIS.

You'll draft designs in AutoCAD Civil3D, develop memos, and participate in fieldwork. Local candidates preferred; valid driver’s license required for site work.

Qualifikationen

• Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in civil or environmental engineering.
• Strong fundamentals in civil engineering with interest in water resources.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Hydrology or hydraulics coursework is a plus.

Your Role

About You

The company is looking for candidates who have:

• Good working knowledge of civil engineering fundamentals
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Self-motivation and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Capability to work safely in office and field environments
• Valid driver’s license and ability to perform fieldwork

Preferred qualifications include knowledge, experience, or coursework related to hydrology and hydraulics. Preference will be given to local candidates.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly wage ranging from $22 to $27 depending on education and experience
