Job summary

Foley Equipment is seeking motivated individuals for its Technician Internship program in Kansas. As a Foley Intern Technician, you will gain hands-on experience alongside veteran technicians while developing a solid foundation in diesel systems and safety protocols.

You will access exclusive dealer-specific training to elevate your skills and may travel to other locations for training or support. Ideal candidates are enrolled in or aiming to enter a diesel technician certificate or degree

What You Will Do In This Role

• Gain Hands-On Experience: Work side-by-side with our seasoned technician mentors, gaining invaluable hands-on experience.
• Learn the Basics: Develop a foundational understanding of how diesel systems function, essential procedures, processes, and safety protocols.
• Dealer-Specific Training: Access exclusive dealer-specific training programs to elevate your skills.
• Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.

Physical & Working Requirements

This role involves hands-on mechanical work in a shop environment. The employee must be able to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation. These functions may include:

• Safely and repeatedly lifting components weighing up to 115 pounds without assistance
• Safely lifting, carrying, and lowering components weighing up to 65 pounds without assistance
• Climbing on and off equipment and working at varying heights
• Standing, bending, and working in physically demanding positions for extended periods
• Safely operating tools and equipment

Post-Offer, Pre-Employment Requirements
