Job summary

Foley Equipment invites aspiring technicians to join our Technician Internship program. As a Foley Intern Technician, you will bridge classroom knowledge with real-world expertise, gaining hands-on experience under seasoned mentors and access to dealer-specific training.

Travel is required for training and to assist at other locations. This internship is ideal for those pursuing a diesel technician certificate or degree and envision a long-term career in the diesel industry.

What You Will Do In This Role

Physical & Working Requirements

This role involves hands-on mechanical work in a shop environment. The employee must be able to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation. These functions may include:

• Safely and repeatedly lifting components weighing up to 115 pounds without assistance
• Safely lifting, carrying, and lowering components weighing up to 65 pounds without assistance
• Climbing on and off equipment and working at varying heights
• Standing, bending, and working in physically demanding positions for extended periods
• Safely operating tools and equipment

Post-Offer, Pre-Employment Requirements
