Sephora seeks a Supply Chain Strategy Intern to map and analyze current inventory planning workflows, building foundational skills in process mapping and gap analysis.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, interview stakeholders, and translate findings into clear process maps and actionable recommendations. The internship runs June 14 to August 20, 2027, with potential full-time hybrid opportunities in the SF Bay Area after graduation.

• Experience with process mapping, interviews, and data analysis is a plus.

As the Supply Chain Strategy Intern, you will play a hands-on role in mapping and analyzing our supply chain operations. You will build foundational skills in business process management, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic problem-solving while developing your capabilities in active listening, process mapping, and gap analysis.

What you will accomplish:

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to conduct interviews and translate current inventory planning workflows into clear, documented process maps.
• Develop structured inquiry skills by asking targeted questions to uncover operational bottlenecks, handoffs, and dependencies.
• Analyze mapped processes against industry best practices to identify inefficiencies, communication gaps, and areas of risk.
• Synthesize findings into actionable recommendations and opportunities for process optimization.
• Present recommendations and key findings to leadership and project stakeholders, aligning with the team on deliverables.

Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively with internal stakeholders. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify gaps, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement in business processes. Ability to ask thoughtful, targeted questions, actively listen, and synthesize stakeholder input into clear findings. Data analysis and data visualization experience is a plus, including the ability to connect data sources and communicate insights through clear storytelling. Experience with Lucidchart, business process modeling, BI, or reporting tools is a plus.

Requirements:

• Graduating in 2027 or 2028 (undergraduate or graduate degree)
• Work schedule must align with 9-5PM, Pacific Standard Time
• Must permanently reside and work in the U.S.
• Must be open to relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area upon graduation for consideration for full-time hybrid positions
• Available from June 14 - August 20, 2027
