Job summary

Satterfield & Pontikes Construction, Inc. is seeking motivated Construction Management Interns to gain hands-on experience in both field and office operations.

You will work alongside experienced Project Managers, Superintendents, and other construction professionals to support active projects and develop technical and leadership skills. Responsibilities include assisting with daily management activities, document control, safety initiatives, field observations, and project meetings.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in both team and independent settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams with daily construction management activities.
• Support document control, RFIs, submittals, drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Participate in jobsite safety initiatives and quality control processes.
• Conduct field observations, safety walks, and punch list inspections.
• Attend project meetings and collaborate with project teams to support goals and milestones.
• Assist with scheduling, project tracking, and coordination efforts.
• Participate in intern training sessions focused on estimating, project management, scheduling, VDC/BIM, and field operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
