State Farm Agent is seeking an organized intern to support administrative duties and assist insurance agents in gaining and keeping customers. This internship offers an entry pathway into a fast-paced insurance environment with opportunities for growth and advancement.

You will contribute with energy, customer relations focus, and a marketing perspective as part of a small team responsible for Auto, Home, Life, and retirement planning services.

Qualifications

• Must be a full-time student enrolled in an undergraduate or post‑graduate program for the duration of the internship.

• Assist the business goals of the insurance agency with mutually agreed upon expectations.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification.
• Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
• Use exemplary communication to efficiently meet the needs of customers while promoting the development of our business.

Qualifications

• To be eligible for an internship, you must be a full-time student currently enrolled in an undergraduate or post‑graduate program throughout the duration of the internship.
• Coursework or expressed interest in areas such as Insurance, Financial Services, Real Estate, Marketing, etc.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as operate independently.

• We help customers with their insurance and financial services needs, including Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement Planning, Business Insurance, College Planning, Health Insurance, and Renters Insurance.
• Before becoming a State Farm Agent, I was previously employed as a State Farm Agent Team Member.
• We currently have 5 team members at our agency.
• Our agency has received awards including: Ambassador Travel, Legion of Honor, and New Agent Program Qualifier.
