Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a motivated RPA Automation Intern to support AI/Automation initiatives. The program spans October 2026 through June 2027, with 20 hours/week during the school year and 40 hours/week in the summer.

Applicants should expect a 2027/2028 graduation date and be enrolled in an undergraduate program. The role offers exposure to enterprise IT projects, collaboration with senior leaders, and a structured intern development program within the CDIP at BJC.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program (preferably related to AI/Automation).
  • Awareness of IT concepts and healthcare IT systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with process analysis for Robotic Process Automation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with IS and project teams to identify automation opportunities.
  • Support development and testing of automation workflows.
  • Document processes and results for stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a learning environment with senior leaders.

Role Purpose

The BJC Career Development Intern Program (CDIP) will support the pipeline initiatives of BJC Healthcare. We have a variety of paid internships for both undergraduate and graduate students. Most internship assignments are project-based. As an intern in the career development program students can expect to work part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer. Students must be enrolled in a degreed program - preference given to students who have completed at a minimum, freshmen year. Students will have exposure to a variety of professional experiences:

Responsibilities
