Modulate Solutions Limited in Auckland’s North Shore is offering a paid, part-time Internship for final-year students in computer or accountancy degrees. This is a paid Internship roles. Hours are flexible and we would expect to agree a schedule that fits in with your study commitments (we are thinking around 12 hours average per week). As an Intern, we will focus on providing training and mentoring into how a consultant at a software company operates. For the avoidance of doubt, whilst you are an Intern, we will not be using you in any client billing capacity. Though, we will try give you some client contact as part of our team so you get an understanding of how that works as well.

Whilst we have no fixed expectations around you choosing to continue a career with us after the end of your study. We can confirm, will be looking to hire Consultants in 2027 and we can offer a roadmap towards becoming a full consultant if we are both happy.

Modulate is an Auckland based organisation with main offices on the North Shore. We have a strong capability in: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, NAV and LS Retail software and we supply our solutions both here in New Zealand and in Australia. We have a small but very tight team and we support a strong and loyal client base.

This is very much an Auckland - North Shore - based role. You will as an Intern be required to work directly from our offices and not from home. We expect candidates to have a good understanding of and aptitude for data flows between systems and who are comfortable with an element of coding.

Essential Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Attributes

• Driving license (clean no demerits)
• MUST be NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Within easy commute of Rosedale, Albany (its office based)
• Native English language standard (i.e. spoken and written fluency)
• Course of study should be IT, Accounts or Business related.
• You should be about to start or in your last year of study
• A quick learner with good interpersonal skills
• Strong numerical, reasoning and verbal competency skills
