Job summary

Xylem seeks a part‑time Intern, Quality in Holland, MI to support Quality Assurance at the Holland operations. The role partners with the Quality Manager to assist with certifications, inspections, and ISO documentation while developing standard work and maintaining QA records.

The candidate should be pursuing an in‑process BS degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Computer Engineering, with interest in manufacturing and strong communication skills. Some travel and teamwork mindset are a plus.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to quality tasks.
• Experience or interest in manufacturing environments and QA processes.
• Ability to analyze problems and communicate solutions effectively.
• Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Quality XPS Bronze/Silver/Gold certifications.
• Assist with Final Inspections as necessary.
• Develop Standard Work as necessary.
• Perform final Quality paperwork archiving.
• Assist in monitoring/managing the total number of open NCRs weekly.
• Assist in performing ISO 9001 internal audits to audit schedule.
• Assist in implementing requested changes to ISO documentation.
• Assist in responding to QA-related manufacturing production needs.
• Support the QA team as necessary.

This role will work directly with the Treatment US & Asia Quality Manager to support the business objectives.
