Work will include event management and data collection using cutting-edge technology to evaluate top amateur baseball talent. The PDP is a collaborative effort between USA Baseball and Major League Baseball that establishes an official identification and player development pathway for amateur baseball players in the United States. Athletes participating in the PDP undergo unique baseball and athletic assessments using state-of-the-art technology as a part of the most comprehensive evaluative experience in any sport. This position will work with a team of interns to facilitate on-site operations and conduct PDP assessments around the country during the summer of 2026.Through this single application, USA Baseball will hire 10 interns to serve across the PDP operations assignments. Assignments will be determined based on each candidate’s skills, interests, and availability during the interview process.**Position Details:*** Full-time hours (40+ hours/week)* Duration: May (NO later than June 1) – August 2026 (flexible start and end dates)* On-site work required (locations vary by assignment)* Domestic travel involved in this position (all travel costs covered by USA Baseball)**In this Role:** As an **Intern, PDP Operations**, you will gain immersive experience in player development, data collection, and event operations while supporting the Prospect Development Pipeline (PDP): a collaborative initiative between USA Baseball and Major League Baseball (MLB).
