The Hagerman Group in Fishers, Indiana, invites a driven student to join our estimating team as a Project Estimator Intern. This hands‑on role supports the preparation of accurate and competitive bids for commercial construction projects while learning preconstruction fundamentals in a collaborative team environment.

You will perform quantity take-offs, assist with subcontractor outreach and bid packages, review drawings and specs, and participate in bid reviews and strategy meetings to gain

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in commercial construction.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; exposure to construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, CMiC) is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and adapt to changing priorities.

The Project Estimator Internwill work alongside our estimating team to support the preparation of accurate and competitive bids for commercial construction projects. This role provides hands‑on experience in quantity take-offs, subcontractor outreach, and cost analysis while learning the fundamentals of preconstruction and estimating in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management , Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in commercial construction.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; exposure to construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, CMiC ) is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and adapt to changing priorities.
