Job summary

Fincantieri Marinette Marine is seeking a Program Management Intern at our Marinette, WI location to support the program management office and prepare weekly metrics. The role involves close collaboration with the Program Manager and other departments to assist in tracking changes and production readiness.

Domestic travel may be required and you will engage in activities such as tracking progress, testing, and readiness reviews while upholding FMG safety and ISO/OSH standards.

Qualifications

• Must have strong Microsoft Office Suite computer skills.
• Must have strong organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have ability to maintain confidentiality and a professional demeanor.
• Must adhere to ISO and OSHA policies established by FMG and have high values for safety awareness.
• High School diploma or equivalent and enrolled in a university or college with a goal of achieving a degree.

Responsibilities

• Track production progress and closure of all Corrective Action Reports, ABS Comments, and documentation to provide closure.
• Track production progress and actions required to Launch including Testing and ship watertight integrity.
• Reconciling government property, tracking GFP/GFE and long lead equipment, and monitoring Hardware Problem Reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Program Management Intern is responsible for providing support to the program management office. This role will have close contact with the Program Manager and various internal departments to assist in the preparation of weekly program metrics including variance analysis, tracking of change and production.

Domestic travel may be required .

• Track production progress and actions required to Launch including Testing, Ship watertight integrity, facility preparations and assist in the preparation of the Launch Readiness Review
• R econciliation of all government property , tracking of outstanding GFP, GFE and MMC Long lead equipment , tracking of outstanding Hardware Problem Reports and production impact from late material
• Other duties as assigned
