Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA offers an internship for Summer 2027 in the Corporate Information Technology team. You will develop Power Platform applications, gain hands-on experience, and tackle real-world IT projects as part of a 12-week program.

Qualified students are enrolled in a Bachelor's program in CS/CE/Data Science with a 3.0+ GPA, and eligibility to work in the United States. The role features a hybrid schedule and a housing stipend for eligible students.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science or related IT field with expected graduation Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or equivalent.
• Demonstrated internship, work, research, or extracurricular participation.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative to understand the business.
• Involved in at least 1 extracurricular activity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Interns must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Build Power Platform Apps (PowerApps) and organize PowerApps into Workspaces to improve governance.
• Work with IT team on a process for owners of PowerApps and SharePoint sites to train on responsibilities.
• Help organize current Power App environment into a SDLC-friendly space for development and maintenance.

Impact Project: BPO Certification App (PowerApps) and Organize PowerApps into Workspaces to Improve Governance

TheIntern – Applications (IT)will build a power app and work with the team on a Process for owners of PowerApps and SharePoint sites to train on responsibilities for owning Apps and Sites. Second project will include helping organize our current Power App environment into a more SDLC appropriate space for developing and maintaining PowerApps.

Qualifications

Your Education, Skills, and Experience:

Compensation for this internship opportunity ranges between $20- $22 per hour. (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to factors such as education, experience, skillset, and/or location).

A relocation stipend in the amount of $3,600 will be provided to students located 50+ miles from the physical location of the internship.
