We Energies in Union Grove, Wisconsin invites students to join our Intern - Power Generation Engineering program for May/June 2027 start. The internship runs full-time through the summer, offering hands-on experience in plant and project engineering with competitive pay and holidays.
Interns will apply classroom learning, develop engineering skills, and gain exposure to environmental compliance, reliability, and safety initiatives in a real-world utility setting.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Wisconsin Electric Power, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Intern - Power Generation Engineering in our Union Grove, Wisconsin location. This position will start in May/June 2027 and will be full-time through the summer. The hourly rate for this position is $23.10 with paid company holidays.

Intern engineers working in Power Generation will gain experience in plant and project engineering, as well as planning, technical support and environmental compliance activities.
Students will assist in monitoring and evaluating equipment and system performance, while maintaining reliability, safety and regulatory compliance.
High School Diploma, GED, or HSED. Current pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related Engineering majors with a graduation date after July 2027. Minimum GPA of 2.8 Valid driver's license.
