Core Responsibilities
  • Conduct research to support the development, revision, and benchmarking of institutional policies, including reviewing peer institution policies, relevant laws/regulations, and best practices to inform recommendations.
  • Review, edit, and proofread draft policies and procedures for clarity, consistency, formatting, and adherence to university policy templates and style standards.
  • Provide support for the policy management system, including uploading and formatting documents, updating workflows, tracking approval status, and troubleshooting routine access issues.
  • Assist with data and records support for the policy office, including tracking policy review/renewal dates, maintaining version control, and organizing supporting documentation.
  • Assist with communicating policy updates and announcements to faculty, staff, and other stakeholders, and respond to routine policy-related inquiries.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be in good academic standing and maintain a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
  • Must be enrolled as a degree seeking student with a minimum of 6 credits in the current or upcoming semester at Nevada State.

Eligibility to work in the UnitedStates without sponsorship (NevadaState does not sponsor employment-related visas).

Work Hours: This position will work 10 - 19.5 hours per week. Student employees can work up to 19.5 hours per week.

Hourly Rate: $14.00 per hour.
