Job summary

Mercy Hospital of Buffalo, part of Catholic Health, seeks a Pharmacy Intern Assistant to support dispensing activities under licensed pharmacists. The role is evenings with weekend and holiday rotation, offered Per Diem with a 0.1 FTE schedule.

Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and Lead Pharmacist, you will perform technical dispensing tasks in compliance with New York State law, while gaining hands-on experience and developing accuracy, math and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Accepted in an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• No previous experience required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy, and Lead Pharmacist, and under the supervision of the Senior Pharmacy Technician/Buyer and Clinical Pharmacists, and according to New York State law, performs technical activities associated with dispensing pharmaceuticals.
