Job summary

KLJ in Rapid City, SD seeks a student intern to assist across engineering, surveying, and planning activities. You will help collect data, support field crews, and prepare plans and reports using AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
• Strong interest in infrastructure, transportation, utilities, or construction.
• Exposure to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS or MicroStation preferred but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data collection, research, and analysis for engineering, surveying, planning, and construction projects.
• Support field crews with surveying, construction observation, inspections, and site documentation.
