Job summary

Hilltop Securities Inc. is seeking a Capital Markets Negotiated Underwriting Intern for the Summer 2027 program, based in downtown Dallas.

You will gain hands-on experience on a full-service trading desk with the Fixed Income Capital Markets team, learning about corporate bonds, CDs, agencies, treasuries, and related products. You will use Bloomberg, Excel, and firm platforms, complete Bloomberg University certification, and collaborate with Traders and Sales on a range of projects across the

Job description

Hilltop Securities Inc. is currently looking for qualified students to join our team as a Capital Markets Negotiated Underwriting Intern. This individual will work closely with our Fixed Income Capital Markets team to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry while assisting with several key initiatives across the company. Professional Development Objectives: Experience on a full service trading desk this individual will learn about products traded including corporate bonds, CD's, agencies, treasuries. This individual will also work on the taxable fixed income trading desk with Traders and Assistants on variety of projects using Bloomberg, Excel, and firm platforms. Our Summer 2027 Internship Program is an in-person experience lasting from May 24, 2027 to July 30, 2027, with opportunities located in downtown Dallas at our HTS Tower location and throughout the country at various branch locations.
