Job summary

SupportFinity™ is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern situated in Fremont, California. The role involves supporting liquid cooling projects, analyzing data, and performing mechanical designs.

Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Support liquid cooling projects
  • Support collecting & analyzing engineering data
  • Thermal design and testing
  • Perform miscellaneous mechanical designs.
  • Perform mechanical stress analysis to support optical design.
  • Document all design/testing/simulation process
Education & Experience
  • Minimum rising Senior (completed 3 years by start) of Bachelor degree in science
  • Majors: Mechanical Engineering
  • Relevant coursework: Machine design, heat transfer
  • knowledge in Solidworks, 3D printing, FEA
  • Open to currently enrolled students or those who have graduated within one year of the internship start date.
Skills & Other Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Team-oriented but able to work independently when needed.
  • Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and time management.
  • [Any role-specific skills, like Excel, programming, design tools, etc.]
  • Internship Duration: 10–14 weeks.
Working Conditions
  • This role will be based on-site in Fremont, CA.
  • Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary.
  • Cleanroom work may be needed
  • Use of mechanical dimension inspection equipment
Physical Requirements
  • Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or in meetings.
  • Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
  • Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
