Playa Bowls, LLC. is seeking a Field Marketing Intern to drive local community involvement and expand brand awareness in Castle Rock and surrounding markets.
You will build partnerships with schools, gyms, clubs, and influencers, manage the local marketing calendar, and coordinate catering and event opportunities. This role is ideal for someone early in their marketing career, outgoing, comfortable on camera, and excited to grow with a fast-paced team.
The Field Marketing Intern is our boots-on-the-ground driver of community involvement and marketing efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for building relationships with schools, teams/athletics, gyms, local clubs and organizations, influencers, and more. You will own the local marketing calendar, generate and execute catering and event opportunities, and report on what is working. You will work hand in hand with our owner, General Manager, and regional marketing manager to brainstorm and execute local marketing efforts to increase brand awareness and sales.
This role is ideal for someone who is early in their marketing career, naturally outgoing, comfortable on camera and behind it, and excited to build something.

In this role, you will be measured against clear quarterly targets.
A set number of community events per shop per quarter.
Quarterly catering order volume and revenue targets.
Loyalty sign-ups.
Measurable in-shop sales lift from sponsorships, fundraisers, and dine-to-donate events.
Required
Experience in events, catering, hospitality marketing, brand ambassadorship, or a related field.
Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel between Castle Rock, Castle Pines, and Parker.
Comfort on camera, plus hands-on experience shooting and editing short-form video content (Reels, TikTok) on an iPhone.
Availability to work weekends and evenings as needed for events, activations, and catering. This is core to the role.
A passion for community, hospitality, and building a brand.
Strongly Preferred
Background in events, catering, or grassroots marketing.
Existing network in the Castle Rock and/or Parker markets.
Prior experience in food and beverage and/or retail.
Hourly wage and gas reimbursement.

This role usually includes weekends. Most of our highest-impact community events, catering opportunities, and content shoots happen on Saturdays and Sundays. We make this clear up front because we want someone who is excited about it, not surprised by it.
You must have a car and the ability to drive to and execute on events, including physical setup and breakdown of tables, signage, and product.
