ConocoPhillips invites a motivated Land Negotiator Intern to join the Land Organization in Houston, TX. You will participate in mineral and surface land work, including deal negotiation, contract drafting, due diligence, and decision support for Land and business unit management.
You will be mentored, gain exposure across sites in Houston or Midland, and complete a 10–12 week internship from mid-late May 2027, through your college/graduate studies.

As a Land Negotiator Intern, you will be assigned to an asset team within the Land Organization. You will be exposed to many phases of mineral and surface land work including deal negotiation, contract drafting, due diligence, and decision support for Land and business unit management. You will be responsible for lease, contract, and ownership analysis. In addition, you will receive cross-functional training through on-the-job assignments using the technical skills you have acquired in college or through your work experiences. The work will develop you technically and professionally. You'll have a Land Negotiator mentor and a buddy to help you adjust to ConocoPhillips' corporate environment. Assignments will typically be at our sites located in Houston, Texas or Midland, Texas. Typical length of our internships varies from 10 to 12 weeks based on the project and your availability.
