Expand Energy is seeking Land Interns to assist senior land professionals in managing mineral and leasehold interests across assigned areas, gaining hands-on experience in acquiring drilling rights and monitoring competitor activity. You will work under mentorship to learn title curative, lease negotiations, and payout determinations.

Land Interns will be mentored by senior land professionals as they manage the company’s mineral and leasehold interests for an assigned geographical area by obtaining the legal right to drill oil and gas wells on a specific property. Interns will also monitor and report competitor activity on a larger prospect-wide scale. Interns are expected to work in a safe manner at all times and demonstrate company core values.
This position will be located in either the Spring, TX corporate office or the Oklahoma City, OK corporate office. The location will be determined and communicated at a later date.
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in an American Association of Professional Landman (AAPL) accredited program required
Minimum: Other - Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
Will graduate no earlier than December 2027
