Job summary

Yum! Brands is offering an Internal Audit internship in Louisville, KY. The role supports the Operations, Franchise & IT Audit team for the full year 2027 in a part‑time capacity (20 hours per week).

The intern will engage across Finance, Accounting, Food Safety, SCM, and IT Security areas. Ideal candidates are college students graduating by January 2027 or graduates pursuing Accounting, Finance, or Business Analytics, with familiarity in BI tools like Power BI or Domo and process automation

Qualifications

• Current college student graduating on or before January 2027 or current graduate student pursuing a Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Analytics.
• Experience in Records Information Management or related field (2–3 years) is preferred.
• Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Domo) and process automation (UiPath, Alteryx) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Operations, Franchise & IT Audit team over the next year.
• Assist in audits touching Finance, Accounting, Food Safety, SCM and IT Security.
• Collaborate with teams to gather data, perform analyses and help deliver results.

About The Job

This team is tasked with making dreams come true while keeping in mind the needs of the business and its partners. If you have a passion for touching every aspect of the business including Finance and Accounting, Food Safety, SCM, and IT Security, then Yum! has a position for you. We are looking for an Internal Audit intern who will work supporting our Operations, Franchise & IT Audit team over the next year.

Salary

Pay is based on experience and grade level if applicable

• Current college student graduating on or before January 2027 OR current graduate student pursuing a Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Analytics. Minor in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems or other quantitative areas are a plus.
• Availability to work for a year, part-time
• US Citizen or unrestricted work authorization (no sponsorship available)
• Hands-on experience with business intelligence platforms (Power BI, Domo, etc.) and/or process automation tools (UiPath, Alteryx, etc.) a plus
• Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
• Flexible with ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• A passion for food, community involvement, and corporate social responsibility
• Our ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, analytical, and leans into ambiguity

Minimum Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in Records Information Management or related field
• Expert Knowledge of Microsoft products particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of Microsoft O365, particularly SharePoint Groups and Kofax Capture a plus
