Erie Insurance is offering a Future Focus Internship Program in data and analytics. TheData Intern position provides exposure to data cleansing, reporting, analytics, and cross-functional projects within ERIE’s data ecosystem.

The program emphasizes mentorship, professional development, and networking with leaders. Applicants should be college students pursuing a four-year degree (sophomore to senior) with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of Bachelor's degree with completion of sophomore year in a relevant field required.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data cleansing and preparing data prior to reporting and analytics.
• Assist in creating ad-hoc and recurring reports using appropriate programming languages, BI tools, and software tools.
• Assist in conducting detailed analysis related to ERIE’s products and services.
• Verify and enter data into appropriate systems and update electronic files.
• Provide clerical and administrative support as needed.
• Complete special projects as required.

We are currently seeking applicants who are interested in being considered for our upcoming summer internship program as potential Data Interns!

Who should apply?

• Applications are accepted from college students currently enrolled at an accredited college or university to pursue a four-year degree or to complete a master's degree program full-time
• A four-year degree student should be completing sophomore, junior, or senior year (graduating in spring 2027 thru spring 2029)
• A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 is highly preferred
• Candidates pursuing degrees in Mathematics, Data & Analytics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Computer Programming, MIS or related fields of study highly preferred.
