Job summary

Plexus is seeking a Human Resources Training Intern to support the training team and gain exposure to Plexus' industry and operations. The role offers hands-on experience with LMS administration, training content management, and cross-functional collaboration within an inclusive culture.

The intern will contribute to training delivery, global communications, and a continuous learning environment while developing professional skills and understanding of Plexus’ processes and equipment.

Qualifications

• Student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field for the full duration of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Support LMS Administration: assist training team in managing the Learning Management System and track progress.
• Assist with Training Compliance: monitor training processes and ensure activities comply with procedures.
• Maintain & Audit Training Content: review and update training materials for accuracy and compliance.
• Facilitate Material Delivery: prepare and organize training resources for sessions with SMEs.
• Assist in Training Delivery: support senior team members in delivering training programs.
• Support Global Communications: draft internal communications to align employees with training initiatives.
• Promote a Continuous Learning Culture: encourage learning and development across the team.

Our commitment to pay range transparency fosters an equitable workplace, where everyone can feel valued. This is an internship position (Non-Exempt Salary); the hourly range is stated below. The rate offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Hourly Rate: $20 - $24/hr.

Overview

The Human Resources Training Intern will support the training team. They will also gain and apply knowledge about Plexus' industry, infrastructure and business during the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Support LMS Administration: Assist the training team in administering the Learning Management System (LMS) to track employee progress and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Assist with Training Compliance: Help monitor and organize training processes to ensure all activities comply with company work instructions, procedures, and training matrix requirements.
• Maintain & Audit Training Content: Support the team in reviewing, updating, and managing training materials to guarantee all documentation remains accurate, compliant, and up-to-date. Problem Solve with process experts to resolve audit findings and address customer training requirements.
• Facilitate Material Delivery: Help prepare, format, and organize training resources to ensure smooth and effective content delivery during learning sessions. Partner and collaborate with Subject Matter experts to create content that supports new processes and equipment.
• Assist in Training Delivery: Work alongside senior team members to support the facilitation of training programs aimed at enhancing employee technical skills.
• Support Global Communications: Assist in drafting internal communications to help align employees with company-wide and global training initiatives and programs.
• Promote a Continuous Learning Culture: Bring enthusiasm for learning and development to support the team in creating an engaging, dynamic, and encouraging environment for all participants.

Minimum Qualifications

• Student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field for the entire duration of internship.

• Junior level status
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
