Highgate Hotels is offering a 2027 Human Resources Internship designed for students eager to learn in a dynamic hospitality environment while mentored by experienced HR professionals.

The internship provides hands-on experience in day-to-day HR operations, recruitment coordination, onboarding, and employee records management, with exposure to talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and performance management.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related degree program preferred.
• Strong interest in hotel operations, hospitality leadership, guest service, and career growth within the hotel industry.
• Previous hotel, customer service, retail, or campus leadership experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Professional demeanor with a positive and service-oriented attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the property for extended periods of time.

• Demonstrate a warm, professional, and service-focused attitude with guests, associates, and leadership.
• Follow all hotel policies, brand standards, safety procedures, confidentiality expectations, and grooming standards.
• Learn and contribute in a fast-paced hospitality environment while developing valuable professional skills.
