Trustmark is offering a full-time Graphic Design internship in Jackson, MS, designed to provide on-the-job training across multiple departments while contributing to real projects. You will complete special projects, attend trainings, engage in community service, and participate in company events to gain a broad view of Trustmark's bank operations.

A compelling portfolio and strong design foundation are preferred.

Formación

• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Junior or Senior college level.
• Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing or related field.
• Intermediate experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Understanding of design principles, including layout, color theory, and typography.
• Ability to revise designs based on constructive critique.
• Ability to communicate design choices clearly and meet deadlines.
• Portfolio showcasing design work.

Overview

The purpose of this internship is to equip the intern with on-the-job training and work experience within various departments, preparing the intern for a career in the financial services industry. The intern will provide needed support to one or two departments throughout the duration of the internship by coordinating and completing special projects, while also participating in community service, networking, and training events.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned special projects within departments, working closely with department managers
• Attend designated training classes
• Participate in community service
• Attend informative events within Trustmark designed to provide interns with general understanding of functional areas of the bank
• Present an overview of department and projects worked on during internship program; provide an evaluation of departments, projects, and the overall program
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Trustmark focuses on program participants who have a demonstrated strong work ethic and leadership skills through academic performance, work experience and campus involvement. In addition, interested students should:

• Junior or Senior college level
• Have completed coursework and be actively pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing or a related field
• Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Have intermediate experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Possess an understanding of design principles, including layout, color theory, and typography
• Be able to revise designs based on constructive critique
• Have the ability to communicate design choices clearly
• Be able to meet deadlines and collaborate with team members
• Be able to take creative direction and apply it
• Be able to present a compelling portfolio that showcases their design work

Full-Time position located in Jackson, MS.

Must be able to start June 7, 2027

This position is located in Trustmark’s Corporate Office in Jackson, MS.

Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time and use a computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.
