Job summary

Dominion Energy offers a hands-on internship where you’ll work on a capital project across its lifecycle—scoping, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and closeout. You’ll collaborate with experienced professionals and gain insight into project management, supply chain operations, and diverse energy generation initiatives.

The program targets students pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a Spring 2028/2029 graduation, GPA 3.0+, and a strong foundation in engineering or business disciplines;

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university.
• Anticipated graduation date Spring 2028 or 2029.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.

Job Summary

The intern will be assigned a capital project and gain hands-on experience supporting various phases of the project lifecycle, including project scoping, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and closeout activities. This role offers exposure to project management principles and processes, supply chain operations, and power generation across renewable, fossil, hydro, and cybersecurity-related initiatives. Throughout the internship, the student will work alongside experienced professionals and develop a broad understanding of Dominion Energy's business and operations.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Solid working knowledge of and experience with MS Office applications.

Education Requirements

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university.
• Must have an anticipated graduation date of Spring 2028 or 2029.
  
• Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.

Hourly Rate:

$25.00 - $29.00

The hourly rate listed is the rate we anticipate paying for this position. If a range is listed, the actual hourly rate offered may vary based on factors such as the selected candidate's degree type, academic major, and/or school classification (e.g., sophomore, junior, senior).
